From what my late mother had told me in the past, my uncle - Graybill Moye - was working in that bank when there was a "run" on it at the beginning of the Great Depression. Everyone withdrew their money and the bank closed. Their father, Dr. L.G. Moye, was a physician in Adrian and served as mayor for many years.
