My Dad, S. Thomas Misseri, was a Navy Corpsman and surgical assistant during WWII.
He was stationed at the Navy Hospital, Dubin, Georgia, for his land duty.
He met Florence Spivey, his wife to be, while stationed in Dublin.
After the war ended, he returned to Dublin, married Florence, and worked as a surgical assistant for fifteen years. I am sure he worked in every ward in the hospital.
My Mom, Florence Spivey Misseri, was the secretary in the dental departmentd for twelve years.
Thanks, for posting the photo.
