Are any of the men shown known? My gr. grandfather worked at McRaes saw mill on the Lower Oconee in the late 1800's. A murder occurred there in 1891. Drury W. Smith killed one William Bracewell. I have researched this incident and found the verdict. One man on the raft could very well be Isaac Daniel Smith, Confederate Vet. father of Drury. Thanks for info.
