THE TOP DOG - Curtis Beall was a student at the University of Georgia College of Agriculture majoring in agronomy. Beall was a campus leader of all non fraternity men; president of the Blue Key, a national honor society; a member of the X-Club and ODK; the treasurer of the Gridiron Club; the chairman of the Student-Faculty Advisory Council and an outstanding honor student. In his senior year of 1942-1943, Beall was chosen by his fellow students as the outstanding senior at the University of Georgia. After graduation, Beall began serving his country in the Marine Corps, joining his brother, Lt. Millard F. Beall. Dublin Courier Herald, April 16, 1943.
