NATIONAL PRISONER OF WAR DAY

Today, the third Friday in September, we saluted our prisoners of war.  I had the honor to speak before a group of veterans and patriots at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center.  In particular, 98-year-old Sgt. Mack Fitzgerald of Dublin.  Mr. Fitzgerald is hopefully the last prisoner of war from Laurens County and one of the oldest surviving  World War II PO
