THE ET CETERA CHRONICLES - WHAT A HIDE?

In the summer of 1918, Mr. P.M. Watson, manager of the Dublin Junk Company, stated this morning that he bought today the largest single cowhide that he has seen since coming to South Georgia.

The hide weighed 114 pounds and was sold by J.F. Rogers.  this was an unusually large hide and created considerable interest when it was brought in.
