IN OUR THEATER, A LONG, LONG TIME AGO

The iconic movie, Star Wars Episode IV, "A New Hope" premiered in Dublin, Georgia on August 12, 1977.  Running at the Martin Theatre, now Theater Dublin, the film drew large audiences during its three week run, a record only rivaled by the Godfather for this single movie theater.
