This photograph represents the only known image
of the home of Dr. Robert H. Hightower, Sr. and 
his family, which was located on the site of the present
Fred Roberts Hotel at the original beginning of
Academy Avenue.  It is often hard to visualize
the number of homes, which came right up into the
main business district of downtown Dublin.  Photo ca. 1900-1905
