Opened in  1961, Laurens Lanes, Inc., was re-established in July 1966, reopened and operated Dublin's first modern bowling alley.  The company was owned by Bill Lovett, Janelle G. Lovett (below,)  Dorothy Autry, Virginia Duncan & Anne McMillan. 

Laurens Lanes opened on November 2, 1966 with Jeanelle Lovett threw the first ball for perfect strike.  The Wednesday Mixed League, Wednesday Morning Coffee League, VA League, Thursday Mixed League, and Men's Commerical League, opened play on the week of November 7. 

Harrell Woodard was the first manager of the alley. Laurens Lanes closed in 1979 and Dublin was without a bowling alley until the opening of Shamrock Lanes in 1991. 

The all time game high Laurens Lanes record of 278 was set by Ed Pierce. 

Today, it is the home of
Dublin International Market.
