This scene is taken from the present Bank of Dudley looking northeast. The buildings/houses in the upper right corner are located at the present location of the Courier Herald. The lone building standing is the brick office of Dr. R.H. Hightower, which, if still standing would adjoin Deano's Restaurant on its northeast side. 



This scene is taken from the front of present day Smith's Jewelers looking south toward the city parking lot in the rear of the Bank of Dudley.   The grocery store is that of Dupree and Bishop.
