Boiling Springs Methodist Church,  the oldest church building in Laurens County, Georgia, was built in 1851.  Located on Highway 319 North about halfway between East Dublin and Wrightsville, Boiling Springs is also the oldest active wooden Methodist Church of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.

I recently visited Boiling Springs cemetery where so many of my Fort and Jackson relatives are buried. Now I’m the oldest Fort left with no one to ask about our history. I’ve been told my granddaddy attended school at Boiling Springs. He was born in 1892 so school could have been in the early 1900s. Can you verify that a school was there or called Boiling Springs school? Thank you. Marsha Fort Herren.
