THE ET CETERA CHRONICLES - LOUISE KOHN BAUM

As a young child, Louise Kohn Baum, chose to go to play in Washington, D.C., where her father, Phillip Kohn, worked as an architect in the Capitol.

The play was "Our American Cousin,"

The date was April  14,  1865.

John Wilkes Booth aimed his pistol at the back of Abraham Lincoln's head and fired the mortal shot which eventually killed President Lincoln.

As,Louise Kohn Baum, a long time resident of Dublin, was there as a witness to a tragic moment in American History.
