THE ET CETERA CHRONICLES - THE SECOND OLDEST HOUSE IN DUBLIN

This is the David Stout Blackshear House on Stonewall Street in Dublin.  Built, circa 1870, this house originally was located on the corner of South Calhoun and Stonewall Street.  A little more than 100 years ago, the house was spun around to face Stonewall Street to make room for Blackshear's son, M.H. Blackshear, Sr., to build his new home.

This home is scheduled to be listed soon.  A fine old house in a historic neighborhood and within walking distance of many churches and the revived downtown Dublin.
