PROUD WARRIOR - At the Veteran's Hospital, patients have come and gone. There was something unusual about this particular patient. He was a veteran of the United States Army who fought in Korea. After the war he married Frances Googe of Hazelhurst, where he made his home. He did nothing to create the excitement. The unusual amount of attention paid to this patient, Vincent Cadette, came not from his actions but because of his ancestry. His ancestor was among the most famous men of the late 19th century. Vincent was an American Indian like his great grandfather, Sitting Bull (left) . Dublin Courier Herald, October 31, 1955, p. 4.
