Fossils found in Dublin and Laurens County include the Cassidulus (Sea Urchin), Scutella (Sand Dollar) Glycemeris (clam) and Pecten Poulsoni (Scallop) proving that our county once lay beneath the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.
