The person you identify, J. W, Brinson Jr, is my grandfather, my mother's father,who owned Brinson Drug Store from the early 1900 hundreds until he retired in in the 1960s. I grew up in that drug store and it was the influence of PaPa ( as I called Him) that decided me to study medicine. Papa was small in statute but large in the eyes of everyone who knew him. Idylwild was a destination recreation area in late late eighteen hundreds and early nineteen hundreds. I have never seen this photo before and really appreciate the opportunity now.
