The first and only grammy award winner by a native or temporary resident of Dublin, GA. Joe Harnell, who spent the summer of 1938 working here in his uncle's store won a grammy for his arrangement of "Fly Me To The Moon". Harnell's album of the same title went to Number 3 on the National Album charts.
