Edwin H. "Pete" Malcom delivered fish for Messers Palmer and Sikes all over Dublin on his bicycle. Pete was better known "Pete, the peanut man." Pete sold and delivered peanuts and never met a stranger.

I remember Pete so well. A friend to all and a stranger to no one. I remember the bags costing 25 cents. The price was non negotiable. To do so put your arem muscle in peril. Pete would hold your arm with his left hand and jab your arm muscle with a clinched fist repeating "no...quarter, quarter, quarter...pay me! Everyone loved Pete. He always brighten your day when he rode up on his bicycle with a front basket full of peanuts. The world needs more Peanuts and Dublin is lucky to have had ours. ❤��
